Eloise and I have been apartment-bound for the better part of the day due to hurricane Sandy.  Baking supplies were well-stocked, so it was the perfect opportunity to make some Halloween cookies.

“Candy corn” cookies:

The leftover dough beckoned to be today’s pug project.  The last one looked much more pug-like pre-baking . . . Stay tuned for decorated versions, assuming we still have power . . . .

  1. You are so clever. Those cookies look fantastic! I would not have the power to resist eating them before decorating 🙂
Realy hoping you stay safe in the path of Sandy. Hope she just fizzles out for you.

  2. Kelly says:

Watching tv late last night and early today – looks bad. Glad your home is ok at least! Candy corn cookies look awesome – sugar cookie with food coloring?
