Day 260: Driftwood Pug

Today’s project was to work only with brown materials.

It was a beautiful, though cooler, beach weekend. Today’s project and venue created an opportunity to make something my sister suggested early in the summer: a pug made out of driftwood. The wood was collected on the beach, and my intention had been to make the pug on the beach. Eloise disappeared and headed home without me, so I followed and made this on the deck instead. (She was hoping it was dinner time.)

Eloise the pug, starred in my 2012 project "365 Days of Pugs". Halley the pug, a recent addition, will no likely be featured her when she can stay still long enough to have her picture taken.
