Day 160: Pug Grooming Kit

Today’s project was to make a kit for an activity that normally wouldn’t require one.

As all pug owners know, they shed an amazing amount for little, short-haired dogs. We’ve tried many tools to remove hair – both from Eloise and my clothes.  For Eloise, my favorite is the FURminator.  And for my clothes, I like tape rollers.  The other key to effective grooming is an edible incentive.  As you can see, Eloise was eager to be brushed . . . or at least eat the carrots in the kit.

Eloise the pug, starred in my 2012 project "365 Days of Pugs". Halley the pug, a recent addition, will no likely be featured her when she can stay still long enough to have her picture taken.
