Today’s project was to walk through an alley or along a small road and pick up discarded materials to work with.
A little road betwen two of our office buildngs in Stamford provided plenty of material, but I was reluctant to touch much of it, even with the napkin I had brought with me. Case in point, these socks. . .
There were a few objects that didn’t seem too objectionable: a coffee cup that had been outside another one to prevent the litterer from burning his hands while he drank half of his coffee, a piece of thick black paper that was the back of a 2011 calendar, and a very broken polka-dotted headband. They all helped to make this pug.
