Day 32: Food Coloring Pug

Today’s project was to make something ephemeral – to create something that would dissipate quickly like soap bubbles, smoke, butter on a griddle, or cream in coffee.

Mauve food coloring was the chosen medium, as it seemed the closest to Eloise’s fur color amongst the color choices.  Though, oddly, it turned green with the introduction of water.

eloise’s exit interview for the 365 project should be interesting – so, eloise, which did you mind more, being dissolved in effigy, or being suspended from the ceiling as a living mobile?
