Today’s project was to make something portable (or appears portable) that normally isn’t.
With my boss’s permission, Eloise came to work with me one day a few years ago, and we all had a lot of fun with her wandering around our floor – except for one colleague who saw her enter his office out of the corner of his eye and thought she was a rat. Only in New York could a pug of her size be mistaken for a rat.
I’ve wondered from time to time how she could be smuggled in to work again. A black bag that comes with me most days seems like the best choice. So, here’s what the portable pug would look like on her way to the office. She actually didn’t seem to mind the idea of commuting. That expression is her version of a smile – I think.
