Day 17: Bespectacled Pug

Today’s project was to make something inspired by and/or that goes over an eye.

The initial idea was a monocle, but that requires a cooperative wearer and there was no expectation that Eloise would be agreeable.  I thought pince-nez might be easier, despite her lack of a snout.  They are made out of plastic and tin foil.

Eloise wasn’t thrilled with that idea, so the first documented wearer was a pug piggy bank.  The bank had to be propped up to get the pince-nez to stay on.  A similar position worked with the live pug, as well, much to her dismay.

About puglife

Eloise the pug, starred in my 2012 project "365 Days of Pugs". Halley the pug, a recent addition, will no likely be featured her when she can stay still long enough to have her picture taken.
